Cycling instructors

Due to continued expansion we are looking for additional instructors to join our fantastic team, primarily working in pairs to deliver our Bikeability programmes within a school environment and continuing to deliver on our other opportunities.

The main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of cycle training sessions in schools in line with National Standards and Bikeability delivery guidance

  • Effective and positive communication with schools, trainees and the wider Bike Right team

  • Pre and post-course admin in line with Bikeability delivery guidance

  • Cycle training on a 1:1 basis

  • Family Cycle Skills

  • Group Cycle Skills

A full accredited training package will be provided to successful applicants. We also offer tutor support and mentoring along with Continuing Professional Development opportunities.

About you

Along with a passion for cycling, you must have excellent communication skills be IT literate, conscientious, reliable and flexible with a sense of humour!  Other benefits include:

You must be at least 18 years of age.
You must be a regular on-road cyclist and be able to cycle competently, confidently and consistently.
Experience in teaching or coaching young people and adults is beneficial but not essential.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing)
